
Biography Tommy Thore Ipsen.
Director and Concept artist Tommy Ipsen(1982) has worked both with fiction, documentaries art films and commercial projects.
In 2005 Tommy Ipsen enters the department of Conceptual and Digital Art Practices at the Funen Academy of Fine Arts. During the 5 years at the academy Tommy was among other selected for:
The Berlin international film festival Talent Campus, and doing af feature film together with 4 other directors from Italy, Belgium, UK, Lithuania in a project supported by EU European Capital of Culture. His short film G.T.K.M was selected for Copenhagen International Short-film Festival and nominated best Film at the Regensburger International Filmfestival.
When Tommy graduated In 2010 he was invited to exhibited at Brandts Kunsthal and nominated Montana ENTERPRIZE. For representing unique tendencies in contemporary Danish art. Since then he has been developing projects at Zentropa and Eye candy film, working freelance for Discovery channel and created a music video for award-winning Lucy Love.
Tommy has been exhibited in places like, the Danish Culture Institute in Brussels, the artist house in Cairo, and the National Museums of History in Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
